Hohenbaden Castle was built in 1102 and is known locally as the Altes Schloss (Old Castle). The castle has so many winding staircases, secret dungeons that it is a lot of fun to explore. When you think you have made it to the top, there is another staircase to climb. The large wind harp in the old knights' hall was a wonderful surprise. The unpredictable, harmonic sounds of the harp encourage you to sit back and appreciate the wild and free spirit of nature.

We picked this restaurant based upon a Rick Steves tour group member's recommendation of being the best Bavarian Kaiserschmarrn (Bavarian pancakes with apple and vanilla sauce).
